Objectives
The objectives of this Committee are to promote usage benefits,
life cycle cost improvement and standardisation of railway wheels
and wheelsets. More specifically, ERWA focuses on:
- Leadership in the promotion, standardisation and design of
wheels, wheelsets, axles and tyres;
- Monitoring, reviewing and providing feedback on changes in
the railway wheelset market requirements;
- Providing a platform
for technical improvements and usage properties.
