UNIRAILINFRA Committee
The UNIRAILINFRA Committee provides UNIFE with expertise in the field of infrastructure. It is a platform for consensus building on infrastructure at a pre-competitive stage, aiming at promoting investment and innovation in the railway infrastructure sector. It plays an advisory role for UNIFE technical and political activities having an impact on infrastructure.
The committee convenes on a quarterly basis and invites an external guest speaker (typically a representative of an Infrastructure Manager or the European Commission) who presents on topics relevant to members’ business.
Composition
The committee is composed of representatives from the UNIFE members active in track-work construction/maintenance, rail and track-related components, signalling and electrification.
