UNIFE is an international organisation overseen by a Presiding Board and a General Assembly. The Presiding Board consists of nine representatives of the main categories of UNIFE membership. The General Assembly elects the Chairman of the Presiding Board for a period of 3 years. The Director-General and his staff manage the day to day running of the association.
