The UNIFE Diversity & Inclusion Task Force aims to evaluate the current state of diversity within the rail industry workforce, with a focus on promoting the inclusion of women, individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, young professionals, and people with disabilities. The Task Force identifies barriers to entry and advancement for underrepresented groups seeking meaningful careers in mobility. Based on these insights, it develops position papers, statements, and recommendations to help guide and strengthen the industry’s collective efforts toward a more inclusive and engaged rail community.
