SECURE-ED – BUCHAREST DEMONSTRATION 22 JUL 2014

We would like to invite you to the latest SECUR-ED demonstration event taking place in Bucharest, Romania on 22nd July. This is an exclusive opportunity for getting a close-look into the work being done by the EU-funded consortium supporting rail operators in improving safety and security for everyone who uses and works on the network.

During the day, NICE, Axis and Bombardier will work with RATB, the Romanian Gendarmerie and the Bucharest Police to run a test simulation of a PSIM-based solution (that includes integration of HD outdoor PTZ cameras, on-board cameras and video analytics) within the command and control room.

In two scenarios (aggressive behaviour to ticket inspectors and intrusion in to restricted areas) you will see how a command and control room operator is alerted to a situation and the system guides them through the correct procedure in order to co-ordinate the appropriate response between personnel and third-party stakeholders. You will see how the solution provides early awareness of an incident and how it is contained, preventing escalations that could endanger life, or adversely impact the timetable and passenger experience. This is a unique opportunity to see the latest security technology innovations being tested in a real-world application.

The event is free of charge. If you like to attend, please send an email with your details to Florin.Dragomir@ratb.ro by 18 May 2014!

Please also mark in your agenda the SECUR-ED Final Conference which will be held on 17 September 2014 in Brussels!
