UNIFE at the digital transport days in Tallinn

The European Commission, Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE) and the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union organised the Digital Transport Days in Tallinn on 8-10 November 2017, with the objective to explore the potential and address challenges of the digitalisation of transport and mobility both for passengers and freight.

UNIFE attended this event and reported on the rail supply industry’s digitalisation strategy. During this event, Nicolas Furio (Head of UNIFE Technical Affairs unit) handed-over to the EC Transport Commissioner Violeta Bulc and DG Move Director General Mr Hololei UNIFE’s manifesto for digitalisation, the UNIFE position paper on Shift2Rail 2.0 and the joint rail sector declaration on digitalisation of railways.
